Cigarette butts are consistently the number one item picked up from clean-ups. These butts are an environmental burden, damaging to the health of people and animal life. To help keep the campus clean and healthy, the UC San Diego Student Health & Well-being cluster is recruiting volunteers for a clean-up taking place Saturday, April 12 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Snacks will be provided and the first 100 volunteers to register will receive a Sun God Says t-shirt.
